Music and Sound for Emergent Narrative Forms

Soundscapes for immersive spaces and apps that hear the sea and the sky.

Music that functions like sound design, and sound design that sings like music.

I’m Jesse Solomon Clark. I make sounds and music.

Over the past two decades, with incredibly talented creative partners, I’ve composed scores and designed sound for narrative film, ads, TV, interactive games, generative art and AI-assisted projects.

Today I create soundscapes for large-scale art installations and exhibitions around the world. These emergent narrative forms offer incredible opportunities for immersive storytelling and deeply engaging experiences.

Sound composition and music design

This approach yields a seamless audio world tuned to the new narrative forms of our time.

Spaces

My work for spaces invites visitors to experience a story as an environment rather than a show. There is no proscenium. The sound is a texture of the room, like the lighting or the temperature, and an active part of the storytelling.

Selected exhibitions

2015 – 2025

Hello Moon, Hello Sun, Hello Tides

Three apps coming soon. A sentence or two here about what they share and who they’re for.

Band and experiments

Music made outside the exhibition hall: songs with AI-generated voices, and an organ that plays itself.
